My background is mostly in newspapers but I've increasingly been working as an editor for websites and magazines.

I spent 7 years at The Independent, where I started out as a news and features writer but spent the biggest chunk of time as arts editor for digital.

Since going freelance in 2015 I've worked for most of the nationals (property for Evening Standard, beauty and lifestyle for Daily Mail, real life for the i newspaper, news for The Times, bit of travel for The Telegraph and Guardian).

I am editor of Popshot Magazine, an illustrated quarterly title featuring short stories, flash fiction and poetry.

From November 2017 to October 2018 I was launch editor of a magazine about regenerative medicine, called Wideacademy.co.

Towards the end of 2016, I helped launch BBC Earth magazine as its managing editor - a commissioning, subbing and editing role.

I produce content and strategy advice for businesses and agencies such as M&C Saatchi, Google and Progressive Content.

Charities and non-profit businesses I have worked with include Save the Children, Comic Relief, Turning Point and a number of small, grassroots charities being rebranded under the Home Office's Building a Stronger Britain Together initiative.
